When the groom-to-be first reached out to me, he knew he wanted the moment to be unforgettable but wasn’t quite sure how to pull it all together. That’s where I stepped in—not only as a photographer, but as a guide in planning such an important milestone.
Planning the Perfect Proposal
From our first conversation, we worked closely to plan every detail. I visited the hotel in advance, scouting the grounds, private rooms, and the surrounding areas to find the perfect backdrop. We even created a wet-weather plan (always needed in the UK!)
I also helped him connect with local stylists to bring his vision to life. Together, they set up a romantic backdrop that felt personal, thoughtful, and completely tailored to the couple.
The Moment She Said Yes
As the golden summer sun dipped low, he surprised her at her hotel room and led her to the chosen spot outside. The air was filled with anticipation, and when he got down on one knee, she said a joyful “yes.” It was such a privilege to be there, discreetly capturing the moment they’ll remember forever.
What followed was full of warmth—family members joined them to celebrate straight after, and we created some beautiful portraits of everyone together.
Couples Photoshoot Around the Hotel
After the initial excitement, we wandered around the stunning grounds of Boringdon Hall for a couples shoot. With the summer light at its very best, the images felt timeless—romantic, natural, and full of joy.
