This is the most incredible life changing moment ever! And you and your baby deserve to have this documented.

Embrace, cherish and fully experience all that this time has to offer.

It’s not just about the photoshoot, this is a time to relax! Have a you day and get spoilt and pampered - you deserve this!

Read on to learn how to plan out your maternity session.

When to book your photographer

Make contact with your photographer whenever you want to but don’t leave it any later to book in the photoshoot less than 3 months before you want your session (that’s when I take bookings). Touch base with them earlier if you want to drop in and check their availability.

When to actually have the photoshoot

In most cases this is sometime in your 7th or 8th month of pregnancy or between 28-34 weeks. During this time, you will have a fairly sizeable and beautiful bump to show off and your baby will not have dropped down too far yet.

The start of your third trimester is the perfect time for a maternity photoshoot.

What happens after you’ve booked your photoshoot?

This is the exciting part! Now you can start planning your session, go shopping or hire wardrobe styling.

Plan out how you want your session to be styled; blue denim and white shirt, glamourous tight fitted dresses or go nude and artistic. The choices are endless and with planning from myself and my team we can create a beautiful styled photoshoot based on your vision combined with ours.

Tip: Treat this as a pamper day for you - Carry the day on and plan a girls day for after the photo shoot and head out to lunch or dinner! You’ll be all dolled up still so why not!
