A studio & woodland Self-Love & Family photoshoot in devon
Hayley’s Story
Hayley came to me for a transformative photoshoot experience for herself and her family. But as we dived into her Why, we discovered she needed to find herself again and to not just identify as a mother and wife. That began with a self-love session in the studio.

“Since having Charlie, I’ve never felt 100% happy with my body. Since May I’ve lost a stone and seen some confidence come back. I felt like me not just a mummy! I Felt almost like a celebrity with all the attention, it was so empowering. I thought I would feel so awkward but with your amazing guidance and knowledge that just went away.”
As she stepped in front of the camera, the focused energy surrounded her, allowing her to embrace her own beauty, radiance and self worth.
“Emma was amazing throughout the whole process. Having a consultation and step by step guidance before had was so reassuring. Communication leading up the photoshoot was great, giving me a styling guide and talking through outfit choices which was constantly on my mind and was put at ease. On the day it was seamless. I felt like a celebrity with so much attention, having my hair and make up done by a wonderful team of ladies along side Emma boosted my confidence behind the camera which wasn’t there before.”
As the session progressed, Hayley's husband and son joined her in the studio. We captured them in a sweet space together, with cheeky Charlie rocking it in front of the camera and allowing Hayley to shine through her motherhood as well as intimate images with her husband.
“Emma had excellent knowledge of poses and what would look great. Trust the process as it gives you so much empowerment seeing the final results. Which came so quickly after. She was also amazing with my family, my son loved her and clicked with her.”
To add a touch of adventure and spontaneity to the session, we ventured into the nearby woods. Surrounded by nature, allowing Charlie to go wild, while Hayley and Matt shared some time for themselves.
“He loved you and kept saying I liked that lady, Emma, she was nice.”
“Emma was not just a photographer, she was a cheerleader, confidence builder and a friend. Now to make my house a home with these fabulous pictures! Eternally great full.”
