This New Year wedding took place at Huntsham Court on a beautiful crisp winter's day.
The guests had been staying at Huntsham for a couple day's so as my team entered the venue we were greeted by a relaxed vibe, children running around and guests chilling out amongst the rooms.
I headed to the bridal suite where the Bride and her bridal party were having their hair and make up taken care of.
The bride had her two little girls as her bridesmaids who wore beautiful gold dresses with matching shoes and Cornish pearl bracelets.
The Groom and his groomsmen were getting ready in the Huntsham Suite, helping each other put on their button holes (always tricky!) and receiving gifts from the Groom.
All the guests gathered downstairs and were ushered outside to the outdoor ceremony. And the bride had a bit of dutch courage before leaving for her groom. (if anything it would keep her warm!)
The rain held off for the duration of the ceremony, which was an intimate event. Their was a reading by their eldest daughter which was very moving.
Just as the ceremony ended the heavens opened and everyone headed inside! Passing quickly, the celebrations continued with the confetti throw.
Reception drinks took place in the library and the children had their own room to play and enjoy their own buffet.
Formal photos were taken throughout the afternoon (dodging the rain) and a relaxed afternoon was enjoyed with warm winter drinks, prosescco bar, canapés and thank you's from the groom.
I took the Bride and Groom outside and around the house for their bridal photos using the grounds and the beautiful features of the venue.
The children and guests were able to enjoy rain, sun and SNOW! As the children's entertainer also had a snow machine to hand!
In the evening the guests were entertained by Sparklers, Photo Booth, Polaroid and a Casino. The groom even created his own wedding bespoke 'money' to be played with.
The evening ended with the first dance which led to the 'party' that set the tone for the rest of the wedding.
It was wonderful to be a part of a wedding that held the couples own stamp on it. Just one big party to celebrate with everyone they loved.
