I arrived at Salcombe Harbour Hotel to Sarah having her hair taken care of and to find out Sara had gone into Kingsbridge to buy her wedding shoes as she had left her's in Cornwall! So not the ideal start for her, but i tell you it was worth it - those shoes were awesome!
It was a relaxed and calm morning to get ready. Their closest friends and family arrived in preparation for the ceremony.
The ceremony took place looking out onto the harbour, with beautiful and emotional words spoken between them both.
After the ceremony and formal photos the wedding party all headed down to the dock to catch the ferry for the reception.
We spent around two hours on the boat with prosecco, canapés and beautiful landscapes surrounding us.
The venue was decorated very botanical and clean carrying on their theme of Salcombe and the surrounding coastal areas.
Words were shared through the family and friends speeches, reminiscing of old times and the start of the couples relationship.
I took the couple down to the garden of the hotel over looking the harbour for their portraits.
The weather was definitely on their side and the sun set perfectly giving even more bueaitful backdrops to look out onto.
The evening started with Pizza, vintage sweets (which the children loved!) along with a polaroid camera and the start of the DJ set.
I ended my evening with Sarah & Sara with the cake cut, which i have to say smelt amazing!!
